The MAD MONK ROADSHOW is a premier mobile disco operating in the South of England. Established in 1998 it provides 5 decades of popular dance music guaranteed to entertain. Here are the people behind the scenes:-

Tony "Madacious" Sharpe

Founding dj and ABBA tribute band wannabe. Wealth of dj-ing experience from christening parties to comedy cabarets to funeral wakes. Venues that have experienced the Madacious touch include the world famous Earls Court in London,  the prestigious Grand Hotel in Brighton and The Pyramids Glasshouse, one of Portsmouth's most popular nightspots.  Also supported numerous top name bands/tribute bands/comedy acts around the UK. Now producing popular megamixes that are being requested from other dj's around the world!

Damian "Britpop" Webb

Fellow founder member of the Mad Monk Roadshow and wannabe Daily Telegraph newspaper art critic. Now combines customer liaison duties with sound & light technicalities AND dj warming-up. Wanted by the fruit-machine police for gross abuse throughout the UK. Nicknamed "Britpop" due to his uncanny likeness to numerous drug-fazed pop band frontmen (and women!).

Equipment

Mad Monk Roadshow use the latest state-of-the-art sound reproduction equipment, consisting of Numark CDN-34 CD decks (as abused by The Chemical Brothers), a 1.5 kW sound rig, and amazing colourful lighting effects to trip any gig into a heavenly vision of ecstatic bliss., PLUS over 500 CD's to choose from, all equipment and majority of music supplied by PSL ,  the home of the dj, one of the UK's leading dj equipment retailers.
